Junior Chamber International Malacca
The year 2009, JCI KL ex member Felix Lai Chee Wee was inspired by the spirit and charisma of Junior Chambers International (JCI) that he decided to form a new chapter in his home town – Malacca.
In our humble beginning, JCI Malacca City Entrepreneur (JCI MCE) was given provisional affiliation by JCI Malaysia on 2009 during JCI Malaysia National Convention. On 5th October 2009, JCI MCE officially received the Registration of Youth accreditation. From there onwards, the budding chapter grew with the mission of providing development opportunities that empower young active citizens to create positive change to Malacca.
With the likes of many strong leaders in JCI Malacca City Entrepreneur, the chapter grew as the years go by. Since then, JCI MCE has held many flagship social community event such as the Charity Run, cleaning Malacca River, Blood Donation Project, to helping under-privileged primary students – the one clear vision, to give back to society as much as possible.
In 2013, JCI MCE won the prestigious Top Ten Outstanding Local Organization Award recognized by JCI Malaysia. It is not until three years later, in 2016, where JCI MCE achieved first place in JCI Malaysia Top Ten Local Organization Award.
Today, JCI MCE is focused on achieving more, becoming better and providing an exceptional value to the community.
